More than 10 educational and social organizations have been functioning under the shri M.D.Mehta Education Trust for the upliftment of girls and women for more than 50 Years. The flame of education which started in the year1973 is still burning continuously and working in more than 90 like areas of dhrol-jodiya taluka of jamnagar district and doing amazing work in the field of girls’ education and women’s empowerment.
This organization which has been operating for five decades, now wants to go a step further by innovating new approaches and innovations in its organization to keep pace with time. For that purpose, we want to convey a new message to society by using natural resources and energy in educational centers to reduce the economic burden, use modern technology in the educational field, introduce new approaches to education and increase the coverage of education in rural areas.
The proposition, objective and approaches of the trust are very clear and straight forward. Under the new educational policy of India, The institution aims to bring a new approach and give a message to society by making improvements in the educational field. It will directly benefit the future of girls and women’s empowerment which will benefit the society and the nation as a whole.

M. D. Mehta education trust was established on 12 November, 1971.
The founder trustee, the late shri Mohanlal Devchand Mehta, was a sincere, hardworking, ardent patriot and a successful businessman. M.D.Mehta with his unique business acumen and entrepreneurship, became the pioneer of the steel ball industry in India.
He adopted the life mantra that “the impossible word is not in the my dictionary”.
M.D.Mehta was also an advocate of women’s education.The reverend father, who loved the country, donated for women’s education in jamnagar, jodiya and dhrol area. In the space given by his dear friend rajvishree chandrasinhji jadeja in 1973, M.D.Mehta girls high school was established currently by M.D.Mehta education Trust and many institutions, including branches are growing in the tree.
Dr.Harsukh Mohanlal Mehta, a lifetime chairman of the M.D.Mehta education trust has been leading the M.D.Mehta education trust from zero to creation for 50 consecutive years. The late Dr.Harsukh Mehta, whose place of birth is karachi and karmabhoomi, Mumbai.
A natural technocrat, pioneer of education in dhrol area, pioneer of education, skillful leader, full of indomitable self-confidence, skillful life practice, bheeshma pitamah of ball bearing field, power house of positivity, imbiber of life mantra of winning by going, truthful and valuable, charming gentleman, friendly, owner of easy personality, regularity,curiosity of reading, modesty, generosity, master of virtues like simplicity.
