Shri M. D. Mehta Village Service Centre
Established: 2005
Shri M. D. Mehta Education Trust has allotted 150 Sq. Mtr. of land for the construction of ‘Gram Hatt’ (Village Service Centre). The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Gandhinagar has constructed 6 shops at Darbargadh Dhrol. These shops are given to BPL women from the Dhrol area who are trained under the EDI-Eu project. Now these poor and needy women are self-reliant and in a better position to generate a very good income.

Shri M. D. Mehta Mahila Mandal And Women’s Science Club
Established: 2013
Shri M. D. Mehta Mahila Mandal was started on July 1, 2013. The goal is to provide women with economically viable employment opportunities. For example, an eye diagnosis camp, seminar, medical camp, various dish competitions, garba and tailoring classes, and exhibitions are also conducted in Mahila Mandal. Also, the Women’s Science Club was started in 2018 with the joint efforts of Mahila Mandal and Vigyan Kendra. Different programs are held in the women’s science club, such as cyber security, religion and science, internet usage, and remote usage. In Mahila Mandal, from time to time, various competitions were held, like the winter dish competition and the Rakhi competition, and various trainings were provided, like chocolate and cake making. Training in making home decorations and different types of sharbat is taught. It is done under the guidance of Mahila Mandal President Shri Sejalben Mehta, Secretary, Shri Sudhaben Khandheriya, and Education Conveyor, Shri Hansaben Mehta.
